HOME WHITENING

Home bleaching is an effective way to whiten your teeth conveniently and cost effectively. It involves filling a plastic tray with a bleaching solution or gel and wearing it for a few hours every day or night.

This type of dental product is also called a "take home" cosmetic teeth whitening system.

The system works by making dental trays in the surgery or at home or using custom lab trays and then applying the dental bleaching gel to the inside. The dental trays are simply worn for a few hours at night or in the evening until the desired level of whitening is achieved.

The active ingredients in night bleach is Carbamide Peroxide or hydrogen peroxide in the day bleach formula.

Whitening teeth the professional way is not just for people who have stained teeth, it is also for people who want to "enhance" their smile. Both Men and Women use Home bleach and this suits anyone who is over 18 and who is dental healthy. The active ingredients in the advanced night dental bleaching gels is carbamide peroxide, which is then broken down, oxygen acts upon the stained organic deposits which oxidizes them. This process makes the overall tooth color closer to its natural unstained color. Your tooth structure remains unchanged.

Life style and age effect the discoloring of our teeth. Stains on teeth come from many different causes: coffee, tea, red wine, colas, smoking, age, etc.

Also, over use of antibiotics that were given as a child from tetracycline caused dental staining, night bleach has been found to be very useful for this type of stain damage with excellent results.

Home bleach is a professional dental product that is known and used by nearly all dental surgeons worldwide.

For some patients home bleach alone whitens the teeth to a desirable level. For others, a combination of home and in office bleaching yields the best results.
